This is a unit standard prescribed course for Transportation of Passengers with impairments or disabilities.
Examples of who needs to hold a Total Mobility Course Certificate:
- Taxi Drivers who are members of an approved taxi organisation providing contract services for Auckland Transport are required to complete this course before picking up passengers in the Total Mobility programme.
- Driver of vehicles transporting passengers with special needs, e.g. bus drivers, mobility van drivers, rest home van drivers.

- A current ‘P’ passenger endorsement licence.
Total Mobility Limited Credit Programme Course includes:
The course covers NZQA units;
- 1734 Demonstrate knowledge of stress, health and fatigue for driving
- 1748 Demonstrate skills required to assist passengers with special needs
- 1750 Foster effective passenger relations
- 3462 Demonstrate knowledge of traffic law for the purpose of safe driving
- 17593 Apply safe work practices in the workplace

Course Certificate:
On satisfactory completion of this Total Mobility Limited Credit Programme, you will be issued with a course completion certificate. This certificate is kept in your vehicle, for verification purposes.
